Business Development Manager

Your tasks:

  • Lead generation in the manufacturing industry
  • Establishing contacts with potential customers and maintaining positive relationships with acquired and existing customers
  • Selling software products (Industry 4.0, MES class) and integration and implementation services for the manufacturing industry
  • Analyzing the needs and expectations of customers
  • Conducting presentations and business meetings
  • Gathering the customer's business requirements and defining the business scope within the presales processes (Smart Calling Methodology)
  • Preparation of offers
  • Supporting marketing activities in the Italian region (website, LinkedIn, SEO).

About you:

  • Degree in IT, engineering, a comparable degree, or training in one of the fields with corresponding advanced training as a technician
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field of Industry 4.0 solutions or automation
  • High sales competence, at least 2 years of experience in B2B sales and lead generation
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing systems such as IoT, SCADA, MES, MOM
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools such as LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Xing
  • Communication skills and ease in building a relationship with the customer
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Very good knowledge of Italian and English
