BBS Automation in Freiberg (Neckar) focuses on developing and building special-purpose automation equipment in the field of e-mobility, medical technology and new energy.

Founded in 1976, BBS Automation Stuttgart GmbH has established multiple design and manufacturing sites globally. In 2023, the teamtechnik, BBS, Kahle and HEKUMA brands combined forces to become the „Production Automation“ Business Unit in the Dürr Group, with 2,500 employees at 20 sites worldwide. To further strengthen our cooperation, we will operate under a single, uniform brand, “BBS Automation”, since June 2025.
