Your tasks
- You will develop and implement customized image processing solutions, including requirements analysis and design
- The development and programming of image processing applications, taking into account the specifications and operational requirements, is also part of your job
- To ensure functionality and reliability in the production environment, you put the image processing applications into operation both in-house and on site at the customer's premises and carry out qualification and validation measures for the implemented applications
- You design image processing solutions in the laboratory, determine the components and create assembly drawings and parts lists
- For an optimal project result, you advise our customers individually, in particular regarding adjustments and optimizations of the image processing processes
- You create and maintain the technical documentation and qualification documents
- Together with your colleagues, you continuously analyse and improve existing solutions, to increase the performance and quality of image processing
- You will independently familiarize yourself with new camera technologies and concepts from various manufacturers in order to always remain at the cutting edge of technology
- In the course of project management, you will work together with external service providers to ensure integration and adaptation to specific customer requirements.
Your profile
- You have a degree or technical training in electrical/automation engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification
- You have experience in application development or the use of image processing systems
- Optimally, you will have experience with vision systems from the manufacturers Cognex or Keyence
- Knowledge of high-level language programming is also an advantage
- Ideally, you will have experience in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens TIA Portal)
- You are characterized by a strong team spirit and ability to work in a team
- Ideally, you will have a certain willingness to travel
