Like Stefan Roßkopf, Ralf Kimmel studied mechanical engineering and began his career as a design engineer at Robert Bosch in Stuttgart. He then moved to Trumpf, where he held various positions.
Stefan Roßkopf joined the family business, which operated under the name teamtechnik until June 2025, in 1998 and replaced his father Max Roßkopf (one of the company founders) in the management three years later.
With internationalization and diversification, he brought the initially regional special machine manufacturer to the top of the world in this industry. In the field of automation, BBS Automation is now the second largest player in the world and is part of the Dürr Group.
Stefan Roßkopf deserves the sincere thanks and recognition of the entire workforce for this achievement. His tireless commitment, visionary leadership, and inspiring personality have significantly shaped teamtechnik, or BBS Automation today, and made it what it is today.
