Your tasks
The regular training period for industrial mechanics is three and a half years, with dual training in the company and at vocational school.
During your apprenticeship, you will learn:
- to assemble and disassemble machines and assemblies and to commission them
- to plan and organize work processes
- to manufacture components (turning, milling, grinding)
- to monitor and optimize process sequences
- to take on repair and maintenance tasks
- to check and evaluate the work results
Your profile
Do you enjoy turning small parts into a machine? Then you should definitely consider training as an industrial mechanic. Industrial mechanics are experts when it comes to the manufacture, maintenance, repair and operation of machines and production systems. They manufacture parts from a wide variety of materials (e.g. steel, aluminum, plastics) and assemble them into complex assemblies and machines.
