Your tasks
The regular training period for mechatronics technicians is three and a half years, with dual training in the company and at vocational school.
During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to
- manufacture components (turning, milling, grinding)
- wire and set up highly complex computer-controlled industrial systems,
- ensure that the individual components form an automatically working overall system

Your profile
Are you interested in electronics, but also want to master mechanics? Then training as a mechatronics technician is just right for you. In this profession, you will work with computers, systems and machines. You will have a lot to do with cables and other electrical components and will commission the system electrically. However, you will also come into contact with components made of steel, aluminum or plastic and assemble more complex assemblies with them, so you will also be involved in the mechanical side of the system.
